Performing musicians and labels
If you are a vocalist or instrumentalist - a performing musician - you are entitled to payment when released music recordings in which you participate are played in public. In Denmark, Gramex manages the performance rights on behalf of performing musicians in the music industry. Gramex covers radio and TV for recorded and released music.
Gramex has their own 100-point system, where points are determined in advance depending on your function/role on the song.
Payment:
Gramex automatically pays out once a year per June 1 to labels and performing musicians.
