Danish Playlists
The Danish Spotify playlists are managed by a single person. Most of these playlists contain quotas for how many songs can be placed on each playlist, as well as where the artists come from.
For example, there are around 100 spots a week on the Danish "New Music Friday Denmark", 50% of which are reserved for international artists. This means that there is only room for around 50 Danish placements per week on one of the most popular playlists in Denmark.
